Mary Struk Awarded the Jefferson Award for Public Service

Ted Struk, a shareholder in the firm, and his late wife Mary, were recently honored for their extraordinary devotion to Family House. Mr Struk accepted the Jefferson Award that was awarded to his late wife for her public service by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Highmark, The Pittsburgh Foundation, and the Heinz Endowments. For over 25 years, Family House was Mary Struk's home away from home, where she tended to the needs of families of out-of-town hospital patients. She devoted thousands of hours to the organization through her care to the families, fundraising efforts, event planning, food preparation, and attendance at the fundraisers. Mr. Struk and his son Randy continue their family's commitment and dedication to Family House.
