Michael S. Faber is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation group. He concentrates his practice in representing employers and their insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases and has litigated hundreds of workers’ compensation claims at the trial and appellate levels. In addition to litigating workers' compensation claims, Mr. Faber counsels on methods to control, manage, and avoid such claims. An active member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Mr. Faber is currently serving a two-year term as a Section Chair and is a frequent speaker on Pennsylvania workers’ compensation issues at conferences and continuing legal education seminars.
Mr. Faber also represents employers and workers’ compensation insurance carriers in the context of civil claims, protecting their right to subrogation under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act. Mr. Faber was recently admitted to practice law in the state of West Virginia, where he also focuses his practice in representing employers and their insurance carriers in workers' compensation cases. In addition to his expertise in workers' compensation, Mr. Faber has extensive experience in handling complex civil claims, including medical malpractice and nursing home negligence cases.
Mr. Faber was recognized by Philadelphia magazine as being one of the “Top Young Attorneys in Pennsylvania” in 2007 and 2008.
Mr. Faber graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He joined Dickie McCamey after receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. |
