Lisa Mebane Barnett is an associate of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and product liability law.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Barnett worked in non-profit management and higher education. While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Cynthia A. Baldwin in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and for the Honorable Dwayne D. Woodruff in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Ms. Barnett is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
In 1995, Ms. Barnett graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Political Science. She received her J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2009. While there, she was a member of the Louis L. Manderino Honor Society for Trial Advocacy. Her achievements include:
- winner of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy 2008 Tournament of Champions Trial Advocacy Competition;
- regional winner of the American Association for Justice, 2009 National Student Trial Advocacy Competition; and
- recipient of the Kandy Reidbord Ehrenwerth Award for Exemplifying Ethics, Devotion to the Law, and Commitment to Serving the Underprivileged and Social Issues.
