Dickie McCamey attorneys and staff volunteer their personal time to numerous local charitable agencies. Many serve on boards, volunteer at fundraising events, and help charities through their pro bono work. It is the firm’s commitment to improving and enriching the lives of those in our communities.
For the past 20 years, Dickie McCamey has participated in the annual Scouting for Food Campaign run by the Greater Pittsburgh Council, Boy Scouts of America and the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Through this program, various organizations conduct employee food collections during the month of April to donate to food banks. Dickie McCamey is among the top law firms to contribute to Scouting for Food. In 2007, the firm donated more than 80,000 units to the organization giving an average of 275 units per employee. Dickie McCamey was among the top 15 companies donating in 2007 and one of only two law firms in the top tier.
In addition to Scouting for Food, Dickie McCamey donates to numerous local and national charities. Each year, the firm raises funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, and more. Our staff is constantly thinking of new ways to raise money for these and other charities.
